This conference – which is held with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Chambers of Engineers – is a meeting place for those who, in the broadest sense, deal with urban planning in Serbia, as well as in the surrounding countries. About 30 papers from various areas of planning and spatial arrangement are usually presented at the conference itself, while around 40 prepared and printed papers are included in the Conference Proceedings. Every year, a smaller number of papers, about 10, deal with the improvement of the Republic of Serbia’s digital geodetic data system, while other papers deal with various spatial planning topics.
The main topic of the 21st conference is dwelling, with a special focus on social housing. Colleagues from Serbia will explore this topic in their papers, as well as presenting about the recent history of social housing in Serbia. This is a unique opportunity for colleagues from DASH to present to colleagues from Serbia their experience of planning and implementing social housing projects in the countries they come from, as well as to exchange ideas and participate in the work of the conference, thereby helping the DASH project achieve its goals.
The organizers of the conference will provide simultaneous translation into English to any guests from outside Serbian speaking areas. On behalf of SUPA, we invite colleagues from the DASH project to prepare papers, publish them in the Proceedings and present them directly at the conference on Srebrnо Jezerо itself.
