In August 2023, the DASH researchers and practitioners convened in Aalborg, Denmark, as part of their secondments. A group of 12 consortium members from Germany, Portugal, and Serbia had the chance to gain insights into the housing system in Denmark, specifically focusing on the housing initiatives and practices of their hosts, the Municipality of Aalborg and the Himmerland Housing Association. Furthermore, various activities were arranged, including meetings, field visits, and discussions, to delve into specific topics such as the historical and ongoing urban changes in Aalborg, the delivering social housing, the collaboration between the municipality and housing associations in providing social housing, and the financing mechanisms and strategies related to housing.
